We have changed the paradigm for fund investors – rather than the typical approach of fund design overtly favoring the Manager’s interests over those of its investors, our deep hospitality experience and ethos informed our perspective on fund design.  A restaurant couldn’t be as successful if it were to be entirely conceived around its manager’s preferences for design, cuisine, service style, music, lighting, hours of operation and so on. The venue must be designed with the guest always in mind. 
Why should an investment fund be any different? 

Our Focus

Markets
Investments will be heavily weighted to New York City, but will also include other primarily Tier 1 locations such as Tokyo (existing pipeline project), San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. These markets can present very attractive entry points in a down cycle followed by a more rapid and robust recovery.

Capital Position
Primarily sponsor (“GP”) control positions where we have a unique ability to add value through our deep experience and active management across the design, development and operations phases.  

We may cherry-pick positions across the entire capital structure based on broader macro-economic views at the time and identification of what position(s) present the most attractive risk adjusted returns for the Fund.

Network and Experience
We have extensive experience and have developed a broad network across the real estate and operational spectrum providing us with the necessary knowledge, partners and deal access.
